What can I expect at the first appointment?

Our first appointment begins with a conversation. We will discuss your concerns, the individual's strengths, family goals, and determine the best path forward. Together, we'll create a personalized plan designed to support the individual's or family's success and individual needs.

Do you offer virtual services?

Yes. Virtual sessions and consultations are available for many services, providing flexible support for busy individuals and families. We pride ourselves on meeting you where you are, which also allows us to complete sessions in the comfort of your home.

How long are sessions?

Most sessions are between 45-60 minutes, depending on the type of service, individual's developmental level, and family's needs.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, SSBH does not bill insurance and currently operates on a private-pay basis. Payment options and service packages will be discussed during your initial consultation.

Our goal is to provide high-quality, affordable, personalized care without the limitations that insurance can sometimes place on services.

We believe every child and family deserves support. If cost is a concern, please don't hesitate to reach out. We will do our best to recommend an option that fits your needs or connect you with trusted community resources.

What if I believe my child needs additional support?

If, during our work toegether, concerns arise that your child may benefit from additional services -- such as psychoeducational evaluations, ADHD or Autism assessment, speech or occupational therapy or psychiatry or prescription medication needs or management -- we will gladly connect you with qualified providers within our service communities.

Our goal is to help families understand their options, access appropriate resources, and build practical skills that support success at home, school and beyond!
